As many of you know, I will be turning the big five – oh in just a few months. I started a journey last year to try 50 new experiences before my 50th birthday. I intentionally tried to stretch myself with the activities that I chose. Although I have accomplished quite a few things on my list and have completed more than half of the things on my list, I still have a ways to go. Like so many of us, I have had to cancel some of my plans while other things have been pushed back indefinitely due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
I was making some pretty good headway on tackling my list of 50 Things Before 50 and now I am so over this pandemic! This week I have decided to completely unplug from all social media outlets. As if the act of social distancing wasn’t challenging enough … ugh!!! No rest for the weary, I am determined to complete my list before my birthday, despite this dreaded Covid-19!
Currently I am finishing up I am Not Your Negro by James Baldwin, still practicing using chopsticks, and I just interviewed my mother (which was a pure joy). I will catch up with you all next week and until then, stay safe and stay home 🏠💗😷.
Hey Mike… The UU ladies will miss you on our daily Marco Polo chats.
Looking forward to chatting with you next
Sunday.

Much success in tackling that list!
So inspiring! And I especially like that you interviewed your mum as part of the ’50-before-50′ list!
